Intertwining biblical teaching with personality and poise, Pastor Godfrey F. Dickson, Jr.  (Pastor GFD Jr.) willingly embraces the call to minister, which rests upon his life. He empowers God’s people by challenging typical theology and illuminating the word of God for all who are privy to hear him speak. Preaching since the age of 8 years old he has embodied an intense yearning to see change manifest. He avails himself to the voice of God, in order that he might obtain instruction for his existence & to make known the mystery of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Ephesians 6:19. He is a Word economizer, preaching the Word of God relevant with the times past, present & future.

As the son of Rev. Godfrey F. Dickson, Sr. and Elder Connie Frederick Dickson, he began participating in ministry at a very young age in the environs of the A.O.H. Church of God. During these times, he looked to his spiritual mother who happens to also be his biological grandmother, Apostle Nettie M. Frederick, for confidence in his spiritual abilities. He attended private & public schools in Orlando, FL before continuing his education as a Business Administration student at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL.

Residing in Tallahassee, FL for over 14 years Pastor GFD Jr. served at the Love & Faith Community Church for 12 of those years as Chief Intercessor, armor bearer and in several other capacities and was ordained as an Elder in the Lord’s church on October 12, 2013. Godfrey couples his ambition with hard work, prayer and supplication. His diligence and commitment to prayer and fasting permits the anointing to flow freely each time he embraces the sacred desk. He is not intimidated by the attacks of the enemy, but rather utilizes them as ammunition to fuel his passion, that he may charge atmospheres to release God’s glory upon the people.

Pastor GFD Jr. resides in Orlando, FL with his beautiful wife Lady Laurhyn "L.A." Dickson and their sons Justyn Ellis & Gabriel Ian. He also serves as Founder of G.F. Dickson Ministries, LLC an Evangelistic outreach ministry sharing the word of God. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Foundation of Truth Church in Orlando, FL a new thriving ministry where the teachings and practices of the ministry are based on one principle... TRUTH! He is submitted to his national fellowship and covering, Bishop Brian D. Moore, Presiding Prelate of The Life Center Fellowship, Headquarters in Charleston, SC and Bishop Moore also serves as the Metropolitan Bishop of the United States of America within the Global United Fellowship. Pastor Godfrey is also a covenant affiliate of the Covenant Connection Fellowship, Apostle Nettie M. Frederick, Presiding Apostle, where he serves as Protocol Overseer.

At Foundation of Truth Church we place a very high emphasis on praise and worship. Praise and Worship is the expression of your love and gratitude to God; it’s the communication from you to God that keeps your relationship with God open and healthy. Praise is a deliberate devotional expression because we were created to give God praise and bring Glory to his name. Scripture declares that God inhabits the praises of his people (Psalm 22:3). He loves to live in our praise, so it is our duty to build him a place to dwell in with our worship. Our praise and worship can be radical but reverent, high but holy, boastful but balanced, and what we must always keep in mind is the Father is seeking those that worship Him and they that worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. John 4:22-24

Why do we give verbal praise to God?

We believe that praise is visible and audible, so in corporate worship we openly express our praise to God. I will bless the Lord at all times, His praises shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalm 34:1)

Why do we sing praises?
God loves it when we sing unto him. Good singing does not come from a good voice, but from a heart that simply loves God. Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise in the assembly of saints. (Psalm 149:1)

What is a Song of the Lord?
From time to time a worship moment is created where God will download a song directly from heaven into whoever is leading worship. During these moments, we encourage you to open your hearts and mind and sing the song of the Lord as you embrace this very unique prophetic moment. Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:19)

Why do we dance?
Dancing unto the Lord is simply a choice to physically celebrate God’s presence in your life. Let Israel rejoice in Him that made him; let the children of Zion be joyful in their king. Let them praise His name in the dance. (Psalm 149:2-3)

Why is someone running around the church?
When you see someone running that simply means they feel or see the victory of God in their lives and are thanking Him for it. Another Point of View: When God commanded Israel to march 7 times around the Walls of Jericho in Joshua chapter six (6). On the seventh time they shouted unto God with a loud voice and the walls of Jericho immediately fell down. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days (Hebrews11:30)

What is speaking in tongues?
Tongues were the initial act or evidence given to the Apostle’s at Pentecost of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit "And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." Acts 2:4. Some churches may teach that YOU MUST speak in tongues to show evidence of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling, however Scripture teaches in 1 Corinthians 12:4-12 that speaking in tongues is a gift of God. We do believe that it is a gift that believers should seek after since it was the initial gift of the Holy Spirit given to the Apostles, however the evidence, manifestation of the Holy Spirit dwelling in the believer is found in Galatians 5:22-25 which is the fruit (produce, functions, personality) of the (Holy) spirit.

What is prophecy?
Prophecy is a gift that God gives certain people to speak to you about matters that are to come in your life. Prophecy is simply a confirmation from God through a servant concerning where you are, and where you are going. Some prophecies are inspirational, some are directional, and some are correctional. (Romans 12:6)

What is the Laying on of Hands?

The laying on of Hands has proven all throughout the New Testament that it’s a way of spiritually transferring the Holy Spirit into another person for healing, restoration, deliverance, etc. At the church, we also follow the scriptural instructions that “you should lay hands on no man suddenly.”(1 Timothy 5:22). Only ordained persons should move in that authority to lay hands or those persons that the Pastor or worship leader releases to do so.

By immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, and that baptism is a sign to the world that we have entered into a covenant relationship with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:37-38, Acts 8:14-17, Acts 10:45-48, Acts 19:1-6 ).

Lady Laurhyn

By whose indwelling, the Saint is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world (John 17:17)

Pastor GFDJr.

Has eternally existed. God himself shows us his desire for relationship by being relational in himself. He has continually revealed himself as Father, Son (The Word), and Holy Spirit all existing as one entity and that in Christ (The son/word) dwelt the fullness of the God head bodily (Colossians 2:9).  Each part of God has distinct personal attributes, but these three are one and do not divide the nature or essence of God's being. Being created in God's image means that God is in himself relational and that He created man to be in relationship with Himself.
And/or institution of marriage were ordained by God in the beginning of time for succor (help, assistance, aid), covenant relationship & procreation. This sacred covenant and union should be between one man/husband (male) and one woman/wife (female) only. (Genesis2:18, 21-25; Ephesians 5:22-25).

Pastor Godfrey & Lady Laurhyn Dickson - Senior Leaders

Is the unadulterated Word of God, unblemished, untainted, and authorized by God.

The Christ has eternally existed as the Son of God. As a part of God's redemption for mankind, Jesus became human. “And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us” Matthew 1:23.” Jesus was absolute God & man (John 1:1-14), was born to a virgin named Mary (Matthew 1:20-23), and lived a sinless, perfect life on earth, allowing him to make right everything that had been done wrong in Adam. Jesus chose to die on a cross as a sacrifice for the penalty that should have been ours and his resurrection three days later made new life possible for us in this life and the nex
Of mankind and that it is the only way we are saved, according to the Word of God, it is by grace through faith alone, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:15).

Laurhyn A. Dickson is from Orlando, Fl. born and raised. She is a proud wife of Pastor Godfrey Dickson, Jr.  and mother of two beautiful boys, Justyn Ellis & Gabriel Ian. At the core of Lady Laurhyn she absolutely LOVES GOD!! More than just a Pastor's Wife, more than just a "mom" she’s a lover of fashion and all things vintage/classic. Laurhyn is the founder of “RubyPearl”; a new and upcoming Couture and Haute Couture line. Starting as a young girl she loved to play “Dress Up” from her mother’s closet and later pulling together looks and pieces from her grandmother’s closet. The heart of her grandmother Ruby and the boldness of her fashion-forward grandmother Annie Pearl is her foundation and inspiration for her brand.

Outside of Fashion Laurhyn has a passion for women, healing and empowerment. As she aims to enhance the beauty of her clients, she recognizes that no matter how beautiful the garments, the real beauty comes from within. Though unorthodox for your typical stylist, her bottom line is to make her client comfortable and in love with who they are on the inside and the outside so that they will shine with or without the hair, makeup, clothing, etc. She believes that God uniquely created each of us and those differences should be embraced and displayed. All garments designed by Laurhyn are made custom for the individual and never replicated. “Your clothing is an outward expression of you to the world. “Style and Fashion is never about the trend, It’s about telling your story”, Laurhyn A. Dickson.
